# Tokenomics

The $TORNAD token lies at the center of Tornad AI’s decentralized privacy ecosystem. Designed to incentivize long-term commitment and governance participation, $TORNAD plays multiple roles within the protocol, from staking rewards and revenue sharing to governance decision-making. The tokenomics of $TORNAD are carefully constructed to ensure both initial and long-term value for early investors, community members, and participants in the Tornad AI ecosystem.

#### **$TORNAD Token Use Cases**

$TORNAD serves several essential functions within the Tornad AI protocol, driving both its economic incentives and governance processes. The token is designed to encourage active participation while aligning the interests of users, investors, and the protocol’s growth.

1. **Staking and Revenue Sharing**:
   * The primary utility of $TORNAD is in its **staking mechanism**, where holders can stake their tokens to receive a portion of the protocol’s revenue. As discussed in the previous section, stakers earn rewards based on the fees generated from transactions routed through the Tornad AI system. The more tokens a user stakes and the longer they remain staked, the larger their share of the revenue.
   * This staking model not only provides passive income to $TORNAD holders but also encourages long-term commitment to the protocol, ensuring its stability.
2. **Governance**:
   * Tornad AI operates with a decentralized governance model, and $TORNAD holders have the ability to **vote on key protocol decisions**. Governance topics include:
     * Adjustments to protocol fees.
     * Changes to the privacy loop structure.
     * Allocation of treasury funds.
     * Introduction of new features or partnerships.
   * $TORNAD’s governance model ensures that the community retains control over the protocol’s development and that decisions are made in line with the interests of all stakeholders.
3. **Protocol Access and Premium Features**:
   * In addition to staking and governance, $TORNAD can be used to access certain **premium features** within the Tornad AI protocol. These features may include enhanced privacy options, faster transaction routes, or preferential access to new features as they are rolled out.
   * By holding and staking $TORNAD, users unlock **exclusive benefits** that enhance their experience on the platform, further driving demand for the token.

#### **Token Allocation**

The total supply of $TORNAD is designed to accommodate both the needs of early investors and the long-term sustainability of the protocol. The allocation is structured to ensure a balance between ecosystem growth, community rewards, and governance participation.

1. **Total Supply**:
   * **TORNAD** tokens will be minted as the total supply, with allocations distributed across multiple categories to ensure a balanced token economy.
2. **Seed Sale Allocation**:
   * **X%** of the total supply will be allocated to the seed sale. This portion is reserved for early investors, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) that recognize the potential of Tornad AI and wish to participate in its growth from the earliest stages.
   * The seed sale is structured to offer favorable entry points for strategic partners who can bring both capital and expertise to the project. The funds raised from this sale will be directed toward:
     * Further development of the AI engine.
     * Security audits and protocol hardening.
     * Marketing efforts to increase adoption.
3. **Community Allocation**:
   * **Y%** of the total supply will be reserved for community initiatives, including **rewards for early participants** engaging in quests via Galxe. This ensures that community members who contribute to the early growth of the protocol are duly rewarded with $TORNAD tokens.
   * Community members who earn **Quest Points** by participating in educational activities, social media engagement, and protocol feedback will have the opportunity to convert these points into $TORNAD tokens, granting them a stake in the protocol’s future growth.
4. **Team & Advisors**:
   * **Z%** of the total supply will be allocated to the founding team and early advisors. This allocation will be subject to a **vesting schedule** to ensure that the team remains incentivized to continue contributing to the protocol’s success over the long term. Vesting schedules will typically follow a **3 to 4-year** timeline with periodic releases of tokens.
5. **Treasury & Ecosystem Growth**:
   * **N%** of the total supply will be reserved for the **Tornad AI Treasury**. These funds will be used to support the protocol’s long-term growth, including funding future development, marketing, and partnerships. The treasury also ensures that there are sufficient funds available for governance-driven initiatives and expansions, such as multichain integrations or AI upgrades.

#### **Seed Sale for Early Investors, KOLs, and DAOs**

Tornad AI is conducting a **seed sale** to secure funding and strategic partnerships with early investors, KOLs, and DAOs. The seed sale is designed to provide early supporters with access to $TORNAD tokens at a discounted rate in exchange for their contribution to the protocol’s growth and development.

1. **Seed Sale Structure**:
   * The seed sale will be offered in multiple **tranches**, each with specific allocations. Early participants in the first tranche will receive the most favorable token price, while later tranches may be priced higher as the protocol gains traction and demand for $TORNAD increases.
   * Early investors will have the opportunity to acquire $TORNAD tokens before they are made available to the general public, giving them a significant advantage in the protocol’s long-term value generation.
2. **Target Participants**:
   * The seed sale is open to **key opinion leaders (KOLs)** and **decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs)** that are aligned with Tornad AI’s vision of privacy and decentralization.
   * These participants bring not only capital but also strategic insight, helping to guide the protocol’s development, foster adoption, and ensure long-term success.
